Costa Rica is located in Central America and has lush rainforests and coastlines on the Caribbean and Pacific oceans. It’s known worldwide for its land conservation and for the production of bananas, pineapples and coffee. Its economy, once heavily dependent on agriculture, has diversified to include sectors such as finance, corporate services for foreign companies, pharmaceuticals and ecotourism. Many foreign companies (manufacturing and services) operate in Costa Rica’s free trade zones (FTZ) where they benefit from investment and tax incentives.

- NOTE ‐ To take into consideration for Departure Services ‐ It is customary that landlords request full month rent payments even if theassignees are staying just a portion of the month. Please kindly note this is a usual practice but NOT something required per law unless explicitly indicated in the lease. With that being said it is important for us to do our very best to negotiate with the landlords to only pay prorated days (unless explicitly indicated on the lease) and at the same time inform our partners / assignees about the possibility of having to pay the full month of rent in order to set the right expectation since the beginning of the service.
